The program works great with my QuickHeal Antivirus and I've got it working the same way I want.....but here I'll say only about the demerits with the interface.
THE CHECKSUM CHECKER/CALCULATOR ONCE STARTED CANNOT STOP!
And it is not logical to stop the calculation too but you may provide the button called "RESTART" OR "STOP CALCULATION/SCAN". You may store the current calculations in a temporary file and then rename it when completed calculating. But scanning can always be stopped, I think.
The option called, 'always check the background' and in intervals...of some seconds, this decreases the speed of PC. And the reason as you know, periodic manipulation or access to harddrive. Shan't it be an automatic decision there? Okay, like it scan only once, and then only scans the newcommer to the memory! And that too not repetetive, like, scanning again all those files which were in the memory just now, is undesirable. Temporary files come and go.
Finally I've a question....What does that speed"Low-High" pointer meant to be on the interface? is it any file-preference scanning option?
Please inform me if you release updates regarding these critiques.
