I need a command line interface for what i am trying to accomplish, and i was unable to determine if your pdf2text had one (no documentation, and the tool behaved the same whether parameters were passed on the command line or not -- a GUI popup appears). That being the case, this tool is not helpful for my specific task.

I need to convert PDF files to text in order to index them in a full text search module of a c# Winforms application. I was glad to see that your component handles Hebrew texts properly. However, the developer version costs too much.
In my application I use several third party components that do several jobs (e.g. mail functions, pdf viewer, office files viewer and others). each of these components (dll or ocx) costs around $100, and I was looking for a pdf2txt component that will cost about the same. So, your component seems to be suitable for my application, but its price is far too high.
