Disk Repair is a logical bad sector removal and repair software that removes the logical bad sectors and repairs " Track 0 Bad Disks ". Bad sectors are a major problem in hard disks, which are found to be mainly logical in nature. Computer companies usually have to replace the hard disk. Most often bad sectors spread and corrupt Track 0 of the disk due to which it doesn't get formatted, O/S doesn't get installed or copying data gives error.
Logical bad sectors are irregularities on the magnetic media formed due to extensive read write operations, sudden voltage surges, certain viruses, corruption's in boot records etc. Disk Repair is a hard disk utility that repairs the logically formed bad sectors. Disk Repair realigns the magnetic orientation to make each byte read and write able and hence perform the easy hard disk space recovery. The software is simple to use and is helpful in many instances of disk problems.
Removing bad sectors using Disk Repair will clear off all data/files/folders.

No good for repairing hard drive`s

I was looking for a utility to repair bad sectors on my hard drive but this does not give me the option to do this only for floppy disc's.

I need more information.

The information to user, is poor, and the use of this software is easy, and the options very good. But the information to me about what sector is failed and if the track 0 was repaired is bad, and finally I don't know if was repaired track 0 and I want know about track 0 maybe it's status.

Something worng

I was looking for a diagnostic and recovery tool for CF Microdrives and USB sticks. After downloading that ISO file I burnet it to CD. Then I started this program under WinXP and I noticed something DOS like. That's all - no further operation!

Kill your hard drive.

Sorry to say, but this happend to me my hard drive was working a bit with some bad sectors but after using unistal software this is totally dead now.

This program does not provide me the functionality I was looking for. My specific and immediate need was to mark a number of sectors bad on a region of my hard drive.
