This is pretty cool. I was looking for something specific to make a patch. I need a line drawing of a martial arts warrior (and I didn't want a samurai). So I took a picture of a statue and made it into a pencil drawing then edited it. It worked pretty well. In my opinion, the program needs a default and the ability to set a default for both pen and pencil drawings. Overall, I like the program.
I had a one-time need to convert a photo to a line drawing. Without any training, I was able to create a few versions and use the one I liked best. I don't understand all the features, but it is simple enough to try them to see what they do.
I love this program. I allows me to convert pictures into sketches my grandchildren love to color. Easy to use and very enjoyable. Thanks so much for developing this useful program.

I thought the program was awesome and easy to use and the results were excellent. The project that I used the sketch program for turned out amazing and the recipients were so thrilled. One even cried. The installation was easy as pie and the use of the program was easier. Works great and I would recommend ti to anyone.

why is there not more stuff about like this. would like to transfer the sketches to roxio. think it probably would work, and look different and affective. what about turn your photo to crayon or oil painting. it would catch on if it was as efficient as the sketch. i get some wonderful pieces of work that roxio either rejects or messes up. i cannot get my head around all the various formats gif - mpeg etc. i get a plain countryside picture, get the wind blowing,rain pouring it down and the trees swaying from side to side. people say have you made that.
but that is me stuck, cannot get any further, would like to put it to dvd, but roxio is having none of it. This sketch facility is a major break through. i have co across software costing £800 that has it incorporated. but after ten minutes of staring at a programme that even a top surgeon would'nt understand they give in. why everything has to be so difficult, for minimal results i have no idea. no offence, but i could train a monkey to use your software. more professionals should appreciate that we are simple souls out here trying to get on with a job. a doctorate is required before you can operate some of this software that is on the market. You are certainly coming at it from the right direction. keep it up.
The program is basic but works well, I sketch and paint from photographs
and will use the program to simplify the layout of my drawings. The edit
function is good, but I will probably save the file and open it another system sutch as paint shop pro . well done.
