did not solve the problex

As the task manager lost tabs on top i.e. applications, processes, services etc. I tried the task manager fix but it did not do any thing.

Must Have Tool

Thankyou for a very useful tool that stops one from pulling their hair out as I have rather than formating and reinstall XP because the taskman program wont run anymore. This Fixed the problem FAST. THANKS :-)

simple solution

The problem was solved by double clicking the top of the task manager box.
In doing so all the buttons and selections came back to what was just a box with the current task only showing. It was just by luck I read it in a thread to someone elses problem. If it would have been a registry problem, I'm sure your program would have fixed it. Thank You.
