I think drivecrypt is one of the best encryption products out there. The features of the software are helpful and easy to use. This software allows both, the encryption of an entire hard disk partition (the way it does it is by first of all formatting that partition and after that the user can add data to be encrypted), as well as the creation of a virtual container file that will store all the encrypted information.
Drivecrypt allows the creation and encryption of invisible container files that will store all the encrypted information.
This softwares encryption algorithm can go as far as 1344 bit encryption strength, keep in mind that this is millitary strenght encryption.
These are just some of the features of drivecrypt. I am very pleased with it and I recommend it gladly.

Product is attractive to those who can afford it, but free options like TrueCrypt are more attractive to most computer users.
I have used dc for three or four years now. Two weeks ago, I needed to transfer one of my licenses from my laptop to my second desktop. You would not believe the problems I have had with their support or (no support). I emailed them over 20 times trying to answer their questions, most of them asked several times. They had no concept of transfering, only wanted me to purchase another license.... I got so upset with the whole problem, I removed all of their volumes from my disc's and downloaded a program called "TrueCrypt". It is a free program, and I am now using it without any problems and I am happy with the program.
DriveCrypt is an ok program, but their support stinks... You have to pay for the program and dont expect any help... You are on your own......
I do not recommend this program when you can download TrueCrypt FREE.....................
