River Past Video Perspective is an easy-to-use and fast video converter/editor software for adjusting video aspect ratio.
Did you download some movie clip from the internet, and your video editor or DVD authoring software squeezed the wide screen to the regular 4x3 and everything look skinny? When writing to AVI, Video Perspective gives you the options to change the aspect ratio of the video. You can use Letter Box (black strips are added) or Pan & Scan (the original video is slided to fit in the new video).

Unfortunately, while the user-interface is well-designed and easy to use, I could not fix the aspect-ratio of an MP4 file. Ideally, I need something which can stretch a 4:3 movie file into a cropped 16:9 image. While I could crop the image on the MP4, it could not resolve my problem with the aspect ratio.

I have been checking whether your program would be a help for the following problem:
Some "non-sophisticated" TV stations are still transmitting programs in letterbox format, which is 16:9 material in the 4:3 Window with the black stripes on top and bottom. Mostly the reason for that is, that their installation is not capable of handling the WSS signalling.
I like to correct my digital recordings (DVB-T / DVB-S streams) by vertically stretching the active letterbox-video area to fill the 4:3 frame and after that using the utility DVDPatcher to patch the entire file to 16:9 (add WSS signalling) before editing the file to be recorded on DVD.
Insofar a good idea, but your program does only allow for changing horizontal size but not allow for changing vertical size (stretching = line interpolation).
So I'm still looking for an easy (and cheap) way to "un-letterbox" Videos!
