I found the tool easy to use. Unfortunately, 3 of the 12 mp3 files that I modified (added a date to their listing), resulted in being unrecognizable by my player. I pulled a backup copy, tested it for playability (it worked), then modified the "Year" field again. The songs were again unrecognizable and would not play.
Would be nice to be able to update a single field for several files at once (hi-lite all, then make the change).

I chose to try Simple MP3 Tag Editor hoping that it was indeed going to be "simple". It was - I didn't need anything complicated and it does the job nicely. I would recommend it to others. Thanks.
Very impressive tool - simple design and easy to use. The product could be improved, however, by having a larger 'Files to Edit' window. When selecting files from within a directory with several layers, you cannot see the file name and the only way to work out what file you are tagging is to play the file first. A left/right scroll window box or a balloon which identifies the file and the path would be most useful.
Your product allowed me to add tags to several files that would not play on my Sansa 250e MP3 player. Once the tage were added and saved, my MP3 player was able to recognise the files and then play them.

Very simple application. Usefull and easy in use. Thanks. But if there is lyric editor I think it excellent. But thanks again for your application.
Could pretty much do everything this program does on your own...no real time savings in my opinion
