BroadCam is an easy to use video streamer designed to broadcast live video using a webcam (or other camera) and microphone. It will stream most pre-recorded video files in formats such as a DivX avi files, Windows asf and wmv files, or cam-corder.
BroadCam handles the audio and video stream compression, player format negotiation, bandwidth adjustment and serving over the Internet. BroadCam streams will play directly from a users web browser.
It is ideal for companies to broadcast internal and external video announcements, as well as lecturers, teachers or webmasters who would like to quickly and easily setup to broadcast video over the internet. BroadCam can also be used to monitor cameras in different locations, making it an useful and inexpensive security tool.

Doesn't produce memory exceptions or else, works infinit as I can observe.
What about timing....time period between catches. In frame period I think its not.

Version: 1.01I like the application and the fact that I didn't need to install stuff like .NET. The problem for me is that there is quite a gap between the moment the camera see an image and when I see it in my media player on another machine. This is also the reason I am looking for a program that will do everything BroadCam can but has a faster throughput.

Only jpg image brodcasting works for me. I would appreciate more info on video format suitable for the stream.
Even with fast connexion I never reach the FPS set in the options. Again some info would be welcome.
No info either on how other should connect to my server
Over all, interesting experience to be continued.
