after installing and registering loaded the dbx file and nothing happened, as the 2gb file would not contain any data, other trial products worked fine, but could not save the files (trial does that trick)

I was trying to open a DBX file of 2 GB, but It doesn't work. It is a limitation of this trial version?

I lost my Outlook Express data during cleaning my laptop. OE was empty, but on disk C was 171MB of data in OE Sent Items folder. Obviously, emails were corrupted or harmed. I tried about 6 different freeware mail recovery programs, but they did not do any good. Finally I found in Google Power Email Recovery for Outlook Express. Thank god for inventing this freeware use program (OE official recovery program was too expensive for me, I considered losing my important email data for good). It was easy to use and it did help :)With this program I was able to read, save and use again about 95% of texts in all my corrupted mails. I haven't tried to open these recovered emails with OE, but it doesn't matter for me that much, I am very satisfied with the fact that I can use again that important texts in my emails. It didn't help me. All the files were there except the one that was corrupted!

I thought I won't be able to recover my OE mail. I tried everything, including pseudo "free" tool which promised the world and then left you high and dry demanding payment for something that couldn't guarantee the outcome. Then came PER4OE - miracle utility. Eeasy to run and very intuitive and simple. Thank you to all developers who made this utility happen. Your great work is much appreciated.

This program did not recover messages from files larger than 2GB.

I have hit the 2 GB wall for OE - and your product will not open my inbox.dbx file. Too bad, it looked like it was just what I needed...

I managed to install the product and retrieve all my emails from a corrupted dbx file, in a matter of minutes. And all for free! Many thanks.

Excellent application, just did a search for all the *.dbx files on the former C:\ drive, imported 'em and saved them as emails into new directories. Performed superbly.

I wanted to open a 41MB, Deleted Items .dbx file in the system "store folder". I'm trying to find an E-mail that was deleted a few months ago. It appears this software only works on folders "within" OE so I uninstalled it.

Power Email Recovery for OE was just what the doctor ordered when a rogue Manager left our business after deleting everything out of OE. We were able to recover nearly every message and found evidence of his unethical behaviour over a considerable period of time. Simple, quick and efficient sums up this amazing utility. Thoroughly recommended. One useful addition would be the inclusion of the standard "Select All..", Ctl+A, shortcut in the menus or a button for same, as we needed to search the online help to find how to do this. We knew it would have to be there, just didn't twig to the right click context menu. No other criticisms. Thanks heaps.

Power Email REcovery for Outlook Express is a fantastic program. Just what the doctor ordered when I was looking for a utility which can view my archived OE files (from 2002). The moment I switched over to Windows Vista, I was not able to see these mails. I was using Express Archiver earlier. One aspect missing in PEROE is the ability to search for specific mails with filters. This will be immensely helpful in zeroing on a specific email in the archive.

Power Email Recovery for Outlook Express is a Fantastic Tool, does exactly as it says on the tin. Simple controls allowed me to recover all my deleted emails simply and quickly.

I had an Inbox that could not be read by Outlook Express. Power Email Recovery for Outook Express stopped responding after processing about 75% of the Inbox. I tried a number of times but was unsuccessful. I eventualy deleted the inbox.dbx file and let Outlook Express recreate it.

It recovered all my messages, and it did so using a simple, easy interface.

hi... it was really nice to hava a free utility to make the recovery. Thank you very much for it. I coud recover most of my messages but the ones in a 2gb file could not be retrieved, im looking for a free utility that lets me do that. Also, the messages could not be displayed when i cliked'em. thank you again. i would recommend the software only for free there are tons of other software utility that can do the same for the same cost or less

Kept crashing when trying to get permantly deleted emails.
Used all RAM and CPU then crashed and debugger started.
