Launcher is an easy-to-use file and application shortcut manager that can launch all kinds of files and programs. Drag-and-drop operations are supported when editing items shown in the Launcher "open and launch" menu in system tray. Create an unlimited amount of user defined sub-folders and item shortcuts to documents and applications. Create shortcuts by dragging files from e.g. Windows Desktop and Windows File Explorer followed by dropping them into the Launcher "Manage Items" configuration window for menus and shortcuts. Launcher resides in the system tray per default to allow for quick launch of all favourite programs and often used files. Launcher also supports various user interface options, e.g. customizable program font setup including type and size.

The Launcher installed OK, but simply fails to launch. No point in installing again, as it obviously doesn't function (a conclusion supported by the fact that your follow up email has a separate link for failures, so failures are obviously very common). Keep trying guys.

It's very easy to configure and use.
I used about half a dozen of launchers and this one is the best so far. Maybe not the most beautiful, but most useful. If you're looking for launcher - give it a try!

I've only been using Launcher for two days but it seems to give me what I was looking for - quick access to some programs or files without having to cover the screen or Taskbar in icons. I tried drag-and-drop once but without success so probably I was doing something wrong. Manual locking-in of files is good, however. Most importantly, it gets a clean bill of health from SysInternals Process Explorer (now acquired by Microsoft, I see) - if this doesn't happen I uninstall applications immediately.
