It does lock and hide your folders by moving them completely. I just figured it would be more like the original data locker, you tell it to lock the folder or hide and lock by selecting the folder(s) from a list then when it was clicked on it just asked you for your password.
But with this one you have to access the program to even see what is locked. It's not really what I wanted.

I lost all of my files while i entered the password and the folder I wanted to protect. When I Tried to run again the program it asked me to pay 40$ to register the product. And still the files are missing

Well. It's quite similar from Lock Folder XP.
Except for the interface.Lock Folder XP is much better.
Though I chose this because it can run on Vista.

You need to add a feature of visibility, yet lock, it's not everything you want to lock and hide, some you want to restrict access to.
