The program is small, easy to install and fairly intuitive. Creating shares is a little quirky and I don't think subdirectories are shared but I was able mount a drive on a PC running this server with an Adept robot controller. I was able to transfer programs back and forth which I was not able to do with OMNI NFS.

I used ProNFS to mount a disk from a dreambox satelite receiver, and it was easy to install and to operate. Great tool!

We found that ProNFS provides an easy and cost effective way to share data with the one or two window clients running in our office. Our server farm is composed of sevral fedora 8 boxes. That being said, we realize that NFS could have security issues when deployed to any thing other than a well controlled network. If you have controll of all the clients accessing you network via NFS then I would deffently recommend the ProNFS package.
