For maximum flexibility, BeTrayed! functions in two modes, either single command mode or, more usually, in Batch mode where it adds multiple icons to the Tray, all managed by one instance of BeTrayed! - in both modes, you specify the command to launch and, optionally, the tooltip text to show and an alternative icon. If not specified, the tooptip defaults to the command line and the icon to the default icon contained in the file (or if there isn't one, the one for the associated application)
For instance, to add a single icon to the System Tray to launch Calc, you could use:
BeTrayed c:\windows\system32\calc.exe,Calculator
This would create a new Tray icon (with the default icon from Calc.exe), which would show a tooltip of 'Calculator'
In batch mode, the parameter passed to BeTrayed! is actually the name of a text file containing the individual command lines. To use Batch mode with BeTrayed!, simple pass BeTrayed! the name of the controlling text file, prefixed with "/batch:" ie.
BeTrayed /batch:Standard.tray
BeTrayed! would now look for a file called 'Standard.tray' - which would contain a list of appropriate commands, ie.

While it took some trial and error to configure, this little app did the trick for me. I was able to move several seldom-used applications to the tray. I would have preferred a gui to set up the applications, though.
It just does whats written, but to configure it is painstaking, a little effort on thatpart can do wonders...

Perhaps I did not understand what it is your program would do. If so, then it is my fault it did not fulfill my expectations.
I was not interested at all in adding any of the tray icons you provided. I don't want them; don't need them.
What I thought your program could do, was somehow bring back some tray icons I lost when my computer was re-configured. For instance, suddenly the power cord/battery meter, the volume icon, and several other "standard" icons refuse to appear in the tray. I have checked the control panel settings and these things have been designated to appear in the tray --- but for some reason the system is ignoring the command.
There is one thing that I am not thrilled about at all with your program, however. After I realized it was not what I thought it would be, I decided to uninstall it. Most of it uninstalled but I received two pop-up messages saying it was impossible to uninstall everything. I did not like that. When I remove a program, I expect it to be gone. Again, perhaps that is my fault I did not understand there would be remnents of your program that will forever linger on my computer, notwithstanding the fact I no longer wish to possess it.
Thank-you for your time. BTW, if you know how I can bring back those misbehaving tray icons (I've also looked in properties for the task bar and start-up, but its ignoring those commands as well)....I'd be sincerely grateful.
