Omea is great if you only have a few newsgroups and don't need to keep older posts. It grinds to a complete halt if you have 15 newsgroups with 20, 000 posts. It spends all of it's time reindexing the database which hit's the hard drive hard. Indexing should be controllable.

I have not been able to even open the product be cause it will not exept the actavation key that was sent me, and when i sent the company an email it was ignored, thank you

I found this to be pretty intuitive. I have managed to set it up without ever going to the help files! Have yet to work out how to get it to launch web page links from a newsgroup in it's own window and a spell checker would be nice.
