It did not give me more than info about the hardware... it tested not a dam ting.!
Instal was easy. Un instal also. Was expecting the software to test my hardware but it only reported on the hardware I have. Was looking for a tool to test for flaws etc.
During a format C: session I lost both my audio and video drivers. Ihave no backup and I don't remember the filenames. I was hoping "test my hardware" could really detect my hardware, but all it does is make a list of my drivers exept the ones I'm missing. This is not a hardware test. This is a software check. I don't need that. So you're just a waste of time.

I downloaded the program to identify the graphics on compaq evo n600c, but could not get trough, the Test reply "is not a valid integer value".
Otherwise all the other tests terminate regularly.
I originally downloaded this program while still somewhat doubtful about if it would actually give me all the information I was looking for about my computer. It worked like a charm though. One click, wait for it to scan your computer, and poof. All the details about your computer's hardware that you need to know.
With this, I didn't have to take apart my computer, find all the model numbers for my hardware, and research them online just to find all the stats about the computer.
Test my hardware has helped me to some extent about the issues I experienced without knowing previously...
You call this program Test my Hardware, but all it dose is tell me what my hardware is there is no option to test or benchmark anything.
If you want to call it a diagnostics utility have something that does that or change the name.
Good, but not what I expected.
I wanted a program to TEST my hardware, not just give a summary of it.
Am attempting to fix a friend's laptop; wanted to find out what hardware/BIOS problem there were.
This program was of no use at all in this case.
However, it is a useful way of getting h/w details if needed.
This is a fantastic little program. It's very easy to download and install, plus the interface is extremely easy to understand and use. It took me less than 5 minutes to download, install and retrieve the information I needed.
I needed to update my bios and didnt want to open up my chassis to find out the serial number and model off of my motherboard and this little program handled all that for me.

So, When I went to test my hardware, all it did was tell me what's there. Like, no kidding. I know what's there, I wanted to TEST it. Of course, I couldn't do that. So I called this one a miss and moved on.
Good clean interface, easy to configure and use. Good job.

Very basic easy to use I thik it is more of an identify rather that true testing.
This might be my own problem, but i expected this program to do more than just show me what everything is called and rated at, i wanted a program that actually test the hardware and show me performance specs and efficiency ratings.
trying to solve a probelem on my computer, i downloaded "Test my Hardware".
Easy to use but this was not what i was looking for. It simply builds a list of the install hardware (which is certainly usefull)but does not really performs a test to check if the component are operating properly.
Good program but try putting an uninstall program in it in the future
Easy tool to get data about your PC all in one place. I would like a little more diagnostics (or at least some recognition of the DRAM), but otherwise a handly little utility.
