good software to download bse nse data but it has many problems like it is slow, one cannot pause the download and is display window does not working properly.It hangs many times but still data is updated in the file,so one cannot know whether it has stopped or working. would like a better smooth running application,but i could not find any application which can download data of bse and nse like this. would rate it 5 out of 10 because of application problems.

I am very thankful to Getbhavcopy team for providing very simple yet very useful software tool which can provide the NSE/BSE EOD data very easily. This data I will be using for my college project which is about predicting stock market using Neural Network and Artificial Intelligence.
There was some error for some type of data but reason for it is not known. I may try downloading the data again during non peak time of BSE/NSE server. Thanks a lot Hemen Kapadia.

I GET ERROR WHILE DOWNLOADING HISTORICAL BSE DATA-2006 BACK TO 2000.

I CAN'NT USE THE DATA DOWNLOADED SO FAR IN MY S/W BECAUSE SOME PROBLEM WITH IT.

This is very nice piece of utility and add a lot of values to the user.

1. Problem I am finding is that for BSE data the script codes are coming, no names of company is displayed. Is it same from the BSE server? But for NSE -- company names are displayed instead of code. Is there any way to show the both or company names in case of BSE data?

2. Another point is that there should have been a option to stop or cancel the downloading in between. Currently, one need to close the utility completely to stop download.
