Hard Disk Sentinel Professional offers complete data protection solution by monitoring HDDs and SSDs and provides detailed storage information, statistics, alerts and backup functions. The main features of -Hard Disk Sentinel- are harddisk monitoring. After running the trial software -Hard Disk Sentinel, I noticed that I already have harddisk monitoring censors in place regarding temperature and S.M.A.R.T. harddisk info.

Most USB hard disks do not support detection of temperature, health and other parameters because this function is missing from the USB controller chip in the external HDD enclosure.
Please check the "Hardware" page about the supported USB hard disks and enclosures. These have better USB/ATA controller chips and Hard Disk Sentinel supports the detection of all information about such USB hard disks. It is also possible to control acoustic levels, start hardware tests and so.

Is a good tool do detect problens on your HD.
I did think have the best of my HD, but HD Sentinel has detected
that your lifetime is ending.
