What a great product, just what I was looking for to reduce the size of 600 or so pictures so I could use them on my website as required.
Easy to understand, easy to install, use and easy to recommend.

'Easy Stripp' I call it!

Just what I was looking for. Camera takes pictures at 1800x1200 and I need that, but also need them at 800x600. This software will process the entire file and convert every picture down to 800x600. Takes a minute or so, but works great.

Very easy to use, no problems, worked quickly and did the job I needed.

I have used it on .ra music files to convert into mp3 and it worked well. I have not listened to the converted mp3 yet but am assuming that the sound quality is good (original music was uploaded from regular CD (personally owned) and for some reason had ended up as ra).

I used Free Image Converter to resize several folders of pictures on my computer to save disk space. The thing worked very well and saved me a lot of time and effort. Folders containing as many as 500 pics were resized is about 5 minutes or less and saved me gigabytes in hard drive space. The program did EXACTLY what I wanted it to, and I was amazed at how easy it was to figure out and use.

I was searching the internet for this type of program, and I am very grateful that it met my expectations and more! I would have had to resize each picture individually and I was losing some quality. I tested Free Image Converter on a few pictures prior to changing an entire folder, and it kept good picture quality. That's why I chose it over others.

It did exactly what I needed it to do, which was convert several images from one format to another in one bulk sum and it did it easily and quickly. Highly recommended, very easy to use works excellently...and it's FREE!! =)

It is a fantastic product and allows me to easily shrink my pics to work with my electronic picture frame.

I was very pleased with this software. It worked very well and did what it says. I was also able to use it to resize a bunch of images at once.

I needed a quick solution to resize my jpg images. This software is free and very easy to use. My tip is to use the "Exact Image" resize option under "Advanced Image Options".

Came up as script.

I tryed to download FIC on my Mac, but it can't work, i miss some bundles. Sorry.
Do you have some tip for Mac PowerBook6,1 (version = 3.3)OS X 10.2.8 (6R73)?

I had a number of jpeg photos of different sizes and ratios which would not all run with a Kodak DPF. After using the Free Image Converter, they all worked fine. So far this is the only part of the image converter I have needed. When I have some time I intend to explore some of the other fratures of the program.

A good programm to converte pictures. But the exact scaller is difficult.

At first it looked all good, with test results good. I wanted to resize my entire image collection to put on my ipod, and not take up too much memory. When I clicked on the 'import folder' button, I clicked on 'my pictures' and clicked 'open'. This just opened the images in the my pictures folder, not it's subfolders.

In my photo collection, it is all arranged by date, with lots of folders in it like '2007_06_35'. to import all my pics, I had to click on every single different folder and click open. I got there in the end, but it took a long time!

I got exactly what I needed from Free Image Converter. I needed to change the sizes of several hundred photos. Free Image Converter was fast and the pictures were clear.

I needed a program to resize a lot of images. Free Image Converter did the prefect job in few minutes. Did all that was promised.

Because the promised features are broken, the autor should test it

That's all I wanted: to shrink all the images at once and send them through Email. Used it in 3 minutes. Saves all the fuss of shrinking the images one after another manually. Will use it again. Good job!

Reduces size of bulk pictures - which it does easily and quickly

It does not allow to get reductions to sizes larger than 1200 pixels.
And the user interface should allow to browse the photos, rather than picking them up from an "Open" dialog box.
Anyway, thanks for giving the program for free.

I HAVE DOWNLOADED, IT ASKS ONLY THE NAME OF THE FILE TO RESIZE BUT WHERE IS FEATURE FOR RESIZE, THERE IS NO SUCH BUTTON OR MENU AVAILABLE IN DOWNLOADED UTILITY. ALSO IT TAKES ONLY SINGLE FILE, WHAT IF I WANT SELECT FOLDER ?

nice program - being able to change the order of images being cued for re-size would be nice. The quality of compressions seems pretty good.
