I was looking for a hex editor that would allow me to export a text file in order to compare many similar EEPROM data files. Although febooti appears to be a great hex/bin file editor, it did not provide that functionality nor the ability to directly compare bin files.
I obtained this tool for one specific use: to convert a few hexadecimal files to ASCII format and this tool did the job.
