VirtualDrive Pro CD emulator converts CDs and unprotected DVDs into a compressed images, or "virtual CDs." Virtual CDs are something like MP3s for games and disc-based applications: they run directly on the hard drive, saving wear and tear on the CD-ROM drive and extending the battery life of laptop computers. Users can manage their virtual CDs in a searchable VCD library, share them over a network, and transport them on just about any digital device. Virtual CDs have access rates nearly 200 times faster than physical discs in a CD-ROM drive, improving the performance of PC games, photo CDs, and disc-based applications. VirtualDrive Pro's simple, intuitive interface makes it a snap to create custom virtual CDs containing favorite tracks, expansion packs, documentation, and custom programs. The software lets you create up to 23 virtual drives and an unlimited number of virtual discs. Launching a virtual CD couldn't be easier: simply insert it an open virtual drive or double click a desktop shortcut to the file. the good life for Vitual Drive

It is easy to use,it has very simple instruction and options to go straight to get the job done with no problems.

Virtual Drive Pro version 10.08.31.06

I downloaded and installed this version twice with the same end results, it would not function correctly with my XP Pro system, it just locked up the computer on rebooting it after installation of this version of Virtual Drive.

In order to uninstall it, I had to resort to using safe mode on a reboot in order to roll the system back to a point before installing this version in order to get back control over my computer.

I reason that I tried this version was to compare its performance to the version 10.11 non-Pro version that I already had on my system before uninstalling it and installing this Pro version. The 10.11 version never caused me any problems with its operation, but this Pro version download just was not a successful venture, so I re-installed the 10.11 and my system is running stable again.
