I install it in my dell inspiron 2650 laptop computer and use it every day to record my thoughts
as my voice diary. I think PC based windows recorder has far better sound quality than portable digital voice recorder. Plus, my PC can record over 2000 hours which is far longer than its competitors.

The program is simply a recorder of streaming audio and it does this well. Its simplicity is its strength. It makes it easy to use. The fact that files are already in mp3 format is particularly useful as it saves having to use separate conversion software. I use the software mainly for recording streaming radio programs so that I can listen to them off-line, often in the car. I use a simple audio jack to cassette adaptor in the car radio. Also simple and works well.
