Speed Math 3.0 has two major flaws. First, the interface is frustrating. You have to use a mouse to get your cursor to the answer space each time. Then "enter" doesn't work. You have to tab or use the mouse again to enter the solution to the problem. This is not how most games like this work and it certainly is not "speedy". The cursor should automatically start in the answer space and "enter" should apply the solution.
Secondly, where is the "speed"? Moving a car along once you've answered a question doesn't imply speed. I would use a product like this to help my child learn their math facts quickly, but I don't see how this product would do this. I don't see a clock or any kind of mechanism to know if they are improving. A better mechanism would be to see if a certain number of problems could be answered before the car reached the end, or how long it took to finish the course with a certain number of solutions required.
The graphics were quite nice, but they don't make up for the fact that this is not a "speed" math game.
