I have a Dell laptop that's less than a year old and still spent almost 2 hours downloading required updates, etc just so I could install MicroCharts. I needed to upgrade to .Net framework 2.0, then get the security updates. I had to update some VB plug-ins, etc. I had to download a Windows Client Troubleshooter, and then the security updates. It was a huge pain and I still kept getting errors. I consider myself to be a fairly competent computer user and have never had trouble with an install like I did with this one. I am VERY irritated.
