BKF Repair Tool 3.0 was a complete lifesaver for me! Having experienced a catastrophic malware attack I backed up onto an external HDD using Windows' back prior to reformatting and reloading my Operating System.
Imagine my utter dismay when I went to reinstate my backed-up files and found I couldn't open the BKF files.......
I found and downloaded BKF Repair Tool 3.0 and -contrary to my reservations - it opened every file I had backed-up without a hiccup. Admittedly I had to do without some of the functionality of the Windows back-up software, but having to manually rebuild the file tree was a small penalty to pay and quite trivial compared with the chilling prospect of losing 63 gigabytes of "my life".
Speaking as a total IT klutz I would strongly recommend this software. It is seriously easy to use and in my book
