I was originally attracked to trial HDDLife becuase it would monitor a LAN Drive. I have not been able to set it up to monitor the LAN Drive. Therefore I an rating the software on my current experience.

Nice program. I had a recommendation to use this program. But there was one point that disturbed me: The program can't display the temperature. I don't know if this is related to my hardware, but that was a elemental reason for me to test the program.
So I downloaded your program, hddlife 2.9.109, and nothing happens when I try to install it. All I keep getting is the following message:
___ ___ ___c:\windows\temp\ixp000.tmp\run.cmd.___:%1 is not a valid Win32 application
I am a PC Tech and I don't and can't always can tell when a Hard Drive is too hot or about to fail this program is a very good solution to that problem.
This can tell me if the Hard Drive is not getting enough air to cool it down. Also when the Hard Drive needs to move the data to a new drive before it fails.
My customers and myself use on their PC's and find it very useful.
Now if could just tell me when the Hard Drive is out of warranty that would be helpful too!
