This is a simple program that allows you to pick color you need anywhere on the screen and change the color code into the format you need. with just one click to pick a color, at the same time a hex number for the color will be generated.
This small free tool does not cost you much resources. It will be very useful to webpages designers or graphic users. You may get any point's color value easily as you want.
You can get kinds of color code, long value for programing or HTML code for being used in HTML pages. You can then copy the number to the Windows clipboard for use with your HTML editor. Color Picker is free software very helpful for webmasters and web-designers to program or design.
The software is very small. You need only download the zip file and unzip it to your desktop, and click the exe file to run it. No setup package, no DLLs, no OCXes, no adwares, no any garbage that you do not want to install to your PC.

ColorPicker went above and beyond my expectations. I used it to develop a newsletter format with colors I liked from a couple of other websites. It could zero in on the smallest of colors and give me an HTML color number to use. Since I am not a designer, this was invaluable to me.
This is a very useful utility for hand-coders of webpages (me) and I am very grateful for it, thanks. I have set it to launch on Shft+Alt+c
5 simple suggestions to streamline it (IMHO).
1/ Copy to 'Clip Board Buttons' - change to Checkboxes which hold their last selection between sessions. Then "Auto-copy-toClipboard()" upon a mouse-click/return. The 'startColourPicker' button may be a click too many? Just have the application listening by default.
2/ Move all the options to the menuBar item "Options", only selecting TitleBar, MenuBar, or the above mentioned Checkboxes, stops the listening behaviour.
3/ Maybe a new Option to auto-close once a single colour selection has been made , making operation even faster. Though some people might want to make lists of colours, and this might get annoying. In that case, when "Don't auto-close' option is selected, each mouse click *Appends* a colour definition to the clipBoard in the currently selected format(s) - plural, because it's checkBoxes not radios.
4/ An option to launch the default windows systemColourMixer ( in case the colour you want isn't visible on the screen - it is in your imagination - this is often the case with me - I want a certain colour of red, but I don't have a sample.)
5/ Since my imagined app. is (nearly) always in listening mode, the current big 'selectedColour' box could just become the 'pixelMapper' box. It's a bit disconcerting that it opens up top-left (although I understand you want to keep it out of the way of selecting).
