Windows Vista

To whom it may concern:
I have used Auslogics Disk Defrag 3.1.0, and I doubt thay I would be happier with anything else.It has speeded up my computer, and made some improvements in it's operation. I will have to use it more, and try to see what the specific differences are. Till then, my thanks.

I tried Auslogics Disk Defrag 2.1.2, and it works just fine. Then I downloaded the v3 Beta. This is now installed and has already defragged all my disks. Wonderful product ... and it's FREE. Brian

So far it appears to be an outstanding program. I have it on all 3 of our computers.

I have been using Auslogistics Disk Defrag for nearly a year now. Its simple, fast and efficient. What more can you ask for ??

I found that the Auslogics defrag system is much faster than the windows system and with large hard drives I like that feature. It also gives a visual display of the operation which is not found in Windows Vista. I am very happy with this product.

A great little substitute apps better than the original default windows degrag program. Recommended.

Fairly good overall. Good controls, decent work on the first run through, as opposed to multiple runs required for other programs. User-friendly overall.

Its cool, I like the fact you can setup an auto scan at any time. No need to worry on whether your drives need de fragging any longer

It seems to work really well. I like the fact I can watch it work. That is why I downloaded it as the vista defrag is invisible.

I was searching for a RAM defrag utility, and I am not computerr literate enough to discern whether this product defrags the memory along with the hard drive. I was interested in a stand-alone RAM defrag.....

A good product, free - but i assume any costing would be even better, this sped my computer up by massive amounts, and although not as visual on my laptop, it has helped a good amount, it is a great product, and i recommend downloading and using this tool, instead of Microsoft's own built-in one - which did nothing when i tried it (what led me to this in the first place)

Some of my applications did not want to play well with the newly defrag'd disk.I did registry clean up which seemed to repair some of the issues.

It is good software. I'm using it on Windows 7 64 bit. I find it fast & accurate.

Great defragment tool from Auslogics!

This new version will not defrag my 40gb Win XP pro boot drive which has 20% free but is very heavily fragmented. The previous version had no problems. I have sent you the error messages as they appeared.

I love this program, it works fast, and it works well. What more do you want out of a free program? The report it generates is also easy to read and understand, not to mention comical at times. Just the other day, I had a 1kb file that was in over 300 fragments! I laughed pretty hard when I saw that considering the cluster size should be 32kb, so that file shouldn't have been fragmented. What is windows doing??? lol

This utility seems to work well. It seems to be faster than the windows utility. Although I have only used it once, I have been impressed by it.

Fast, efficient and good on the bandwidth. Will be using this program to defrag from now on

Program installed on Vista Ultimate smoothly and ran super fast compared to Vista Defrag. Ran it after the Microsoft Defrag and seemed to clean up the disk fine. Also installed a Sys Tweak Optimizer and system speed appears to have picked up markedly... Time will tell the tale on these items results. Sometimes a good looking item needs the test of Old Father Time... Visual effects of the Defrag gives you more confidence in the final results.

Fantastic Program. Would heartily recommend. Fast, efficient and safe.

Needed to defrag 550 GB on a 1 TB drive and windows made almost no progress in about 10 hours. Used the Ausologics and it finished in about 15 hours. Did the job much faster.

Your disk defrag program is excellent when used on Vista, did a defrag in less than 5 minutes,far superior to the Microsoft product,and one can run it frequently because it is so fast.

I have been using this product for a while now, and I find it really does what says on the box.
Not many products do that.

The best defrager I have found. Like the graphic that shows what is happening. MS left this out of the Vista version.

It is excellent I will use when it is necessary.

Faster then Windows' Defragment tool

Arrived at this to replace a corrupt program - overall, very pleased, does the job properly - will have to get used to a different "progress" graphic !

Good product. In fact I bought the Boost 4 full version suite. One complaint - its scarce on details. I like to know what is going on, as well as what has not been achieved by a utility, if it fails to get a 100% outcome. The Boost 4 basically tells me very little, and has insufficient control features (and same for the defrag product) e.g. you cannot select a schedule to run different components (e.g. overnight when system is idle). Otherwise, not a bad effort - and very fast! Good work guys.

* Use it to improve system performance by uncluttering Microsoft gunge build-up.

It's great to see what's happening during Defrag vs. being left in the dark with Windows message of "... this could take several minutes or several hours."

I use Auslogics Disk defrag every week to keep my computer's harddisk in good shape. And because it is free I recommed it to everyone.

I am a new user, but I can see that it is a quick defrag and is efficient. I haven't had any problem in using it.

I found the program, works very well and is much faster at defraging than the one I used prior to Auslogics.

My Windows' defrag utility repeatedly froze, so I tried Auslogics Disk Defrag which worked like a charm!

Worked perfectly except that I lost the volume on Sibelius maunuscript writing programme. Any hints?

The Windows XP defrag prog hung up on REGISTRY_MACHINE_SOFTWARE move but yours did not. I tried the free copy of Ultradefrag downloaded from the Internet but that did not recognise the drive name.

I found this as user friendly and efficient.

Ran faster then Windows Defrag. Which is a real plus. Like the ease of use.

Works well, if i had to make an improvement it would to be to display the fragmented files in the same manner as windows 98, where you can see the fragmentation more graphically.

This is an excellent free alternative to Windows built-in defragmentation tools. The interface is clear and the performance good. If it was able to run background defrags then I would change the features to excellent.
