Latest User Reviews:
Algebrus is a serious package with a complete and powerful programming language. It adequately fills the broad middle ground between ordinary calculators (hardware and software), at the low end, and full-blown (i. E. Very expensive) analysis programs such as mathcad or matlab and computer algebra systems such as maple or mathematica at the high end. I often use it to create demonstrations of mathematical concepts for my students. Most recently, I have been writing short programs to display the behavior of iterated functions and producing graphs related to the "chaos game." examples include the generation of the sierpinski gasket (2d and 3d!) and tracing the transformations of points used in generating the mandelbrot set. This is made possible with algebrus' programming language which is easy to learn and master.
You just cannot do those things with a calculator and, in fact, they are far easier to do with algebrus than with maple or mathematica! I recommend algebrus very highly.

I wanted to solve an equation with an unknown in the exponent, but I could not.
