The program is just what I have been looking for. My Windows Vista cannot hibernate automaticaly.
From the outset... This is a smart straight-forward application wich I thought was the answer to my energy saving quest.
However, for the two days |I had it installed on my PC, I have not been able to get it to work.
I am currently using:-
XP Home
Norton System Works (Antivirus)
I mainly wanted it for its Hibernation function but it just wouldn't activate.
I even tried the basic CPU option, making sure the idle percentage was set well above usage and there were no music playing but I would return to my PC to find it hadn't gone into hibernation.
I tried setting tasts in the tast option and still the PC remained on.
I tried cold booting my PC to ensure program is installed propper.
I tried enabling the program to start when windows start
I ensured windaws power manage were not on but still the program would not work.
Now I've uninstalled it and i'm not entirely sure that all elemnts were removed.
A message came up saying 'some elements may have to be removed manually but it did say which?
I now find that my task manager was disabled by AgataSoft and I have no idea how to turn it back on.
Since installing & removing AgataSoft I am also unable to activate Windows Power Management function i.e.- When I set the Hibernation time it no longer responds and this was not the case before installing your software.
So now i'm worse off than before and in need of assistance getting these problems fixed.
Ctlr+Alt+Del = unsually brings up tast manager, now I just get a massage that it been disabled by the administrator and I need to have this back on. There are no special rules on this PC as the administrator is myself (I installed the OS)
I would love to try AgataSoft once more If I though it would work.
Therefore I am unable to rate the program In the mannor it deserves.
