Windows Vista

I am using Adolix Changer to scroll through my manifestation images to serve as a reminder throughout each day of what I am attracting in life. So far it has worked quite well and I am pleased with its performance. When I first installed the changer, I began experiencing "strange" problems with my internet browser. However, it turned out that the issues I was having with the browser appear to be completely unrelated to Adolix.

I am very pleased with this product--especially considering the purchase price! ;)

I like the soft ware easy to use ,nice to come into my office and look at beautifaul scenery.

Very cool software. I had a minor problem.
During the install,the icon is put on the desktop. I clicked the desktop icon and a logo came up. I clicked on the logo and it went away. I thought something was seriously wrong so I downloaded and installed it again. After repeating this a few times, I noticed the icon in the system tray! When you click on the logo, it put the program launch in the system tray! One right click and I was on my way.

Once I got it to work, it was simple to set up. The Images libray is very nice, and it was easy to copy my personal pictures into the folder. I set the random mode and my wallpaper is changing like I want it to. Just the ticket!

I have not tried the other features yet.

I would recommend this product.

I love this program, it is easy the best on the net. I have have loads of them but this is hands down the best to have. Thank you so much for putting this program together for us .

Thought that this app would automatically size photo's to 'best fit' as a Desktop wallpaper? Doesn't seem to though...?

I the product an idea is awesome!!! Love the fact that you can add your own pictures.

I have just notice something since I have installed it though. When I have my outlook open the screen jumps every few seconds. This only happens when outlook is open. I have not had the time yet to play with the settings of Adolix to see if changing the display time of the pictures affects this.

An excellent program. Runs smoothly on Vista 64 bit with a quad core. Easy to configure, simple to use, highly effective, small resource requirement. Exactly as described on website. Nice bit of programming.

It's a good product by far, I confirm it has worked even for vista with it's interactive desktop abilities that have been stripped. I intially downloaded your product because I wanted my desktop to change and view my rss feeds on the internet. A bit like a news desktop background that changes. Unfortunately, It didn't work and I uninstalled the program. Though the initial program worked and was quite good.

The things you need to improve are functionality with rss and live bookmarks. Even with my high resolution images your program worked but maybe if your program could change rss into live pictures then it would be even better. Perhaps you could create a personal GUI for your software too as it looks too blad.

Mmmmm Nice app does exactly what it says also light on system ram and uses almost no CPU time.
Been using it for weeks with no adverse effects, like it a lot. CHEERS GUYS.

I like it. A couple of features that would be nice... An option that filled in the sides of a screen with black (or any colour background) if the picture would be warped by stretching to the edges of the screen; and if there was a nice smooth fade between pictures..

I like the wallpaper changing and randomizing functions and this is why I've downloaded this software.

It could have been much better if it bundles sample pictures at professional quality so that I don't have to do another search on the Internet for wallpaper pictures.

Love this small tool! Now I've got a brand new wallpaper every 1/2 an hour. Easy to use, easy to install.

I've been looking for something like this for a while, it's great to find what I wanted, and better yet, for free. Will definately tell my friends about it.

I've used the Adloix Wallpaper Changer for a couple of days now and have found it to be easy to use and configure - you just set it and forget it and it goes about its business of changing the Vista wallpaper on my desktop with no problem! A great little program!

Adolix Wallpaper Changer works exactly as it's supposed to. I saw a comment about it not having a way to use an entire folder but rather add all the files individually and nearly didn't download it. I'm glad I did. I don't know if the program has been updated since then, but I had no problem figuring out how to use an entire folder.

This seems to be an excellent piece of software: easy to install, straightforwards to operate, with all the necessary facilities.
I have a collection of beautiful images, that are now flowing smoothly on my desktop.
I must wait a few days, in order to know whether some interference with other programs appear: up to this moment, nothing wrong.

Found it to be very easy to use, I have no negative things to say about this at all.
You can set the changes to be seconds, minutes or whatever you want.

This is not flawless but very close.
does not seem to take up too much resource on my 2core.
like the options. wicked job to the designer.

I've had no problem installing and using Adolix on my Windows XP SP3 system.

I do have one "wish" however. I'm shuffling some 100 pictures with the "Fit to Screen" option. For some pictures the "stretch" of the fit must not be proportional in the vertical and horizontal directions.

The picture may look fine vertically, but quite stretched out in the horizontal. Makes the picture not true.

I've experimented with the various setting including the concurrent use of the "desk top" tab on the "display properties" in Windows. So far no luck.

Other than that. Love it. Let me know if you have a fix for the vertical/horizontal stretching phenomena. Thanks. Travis MacClendon, Blountstown, Fl

This product is very nice and it works with Vista.

I installed the program and it seemed to work well. The it kept generating "Unspecified Error" windows.

I uninstalled the program, except it wouldn't uninstall. I actually had to remove the registry keys to get it out.

Oh well. I liked the program but it wasn't quite working.

So far, after 2 weeks, I am reasonably happy with Adolix. It almost does what I want it to do.

I have one gripe, and one wish:

The Control Panel window cannot be resized. (Settings window can be resized)

I have Adolix set to auto-change the wallpaper after startup. It then sits minimised in the systray.

I would like to have an option for the application to automatically exit completely after changing the wallpaper, and not running in systray.

PC is running XP-Pro with SP3, using a custom systemfont.
Screen res is 1600x1200.

Good application. Though the previous wallpaper option doesn't work for me. Otherwise good app. I like it.

This is a very lightweight little program that does exactly what it should do - change your wallpaper for you. Some of the boxes show scroll bars and appear to be resizable, but they aren't. It would be nice if all of the dialog boxes displayed all of their contents without me having to scroll, but this is just a UI nit. The functionality of the product is not affected by this.

Excellent piece of fun software

Easy to use and quite nice program. I like many function such as capture mode I like this so much.
It's better that can seperate folder for shuffle pics cause I have many kinds of pic such as cars, aircraft, art etc.

The interface all works well and installed on vista64 with a glitch. Unfortunately there is no way of removing files or directories from the list. It is totally useless without this feature. I did not see any "include subfolders" tick box either. Good application but missing major features. Thanks. Guy.

Download was quick. Works on Vista. Easy to configure. Works well and it does not put a drag on the system.

Does everything you'd want. Since I only wanted an app that changed my background, then that's all I poked around for this to do. And yup, works great.

I love my new Wallpaper Changer. Looking at a fresh Wallpaper at my desired schedule makes looking at a computer screen different than the same boring screen every day. I've set it at random, so I never know what Wallpaper I'll get next. Thanks for a great program!

Downloaded and installed this program yesterday. So far I am very pleased with it. The options were simple to set how I wanted and get running. I was able to point it to the directory with files I wanted used very easily and the shuffle option seems to work well. It is also not chewing up much memory at all. For reference it uses about 1/3rd what AOL IM would. Certainly can't complain for free software. I would recommend anyone looking for something like this give it a shot and see how it works for you.

Hello, I have downloaded adolix wallpaper changer and it was exactly what i was after. I thought it would have taken up much more memory resources but it is running really well. I am still unsure how to get the images to autofit onto my desktop as the option has been greyed out. A great product and very happy

It does what it says in the ad. A smooth program to give your desktop a new look everyday or hour if thats what you want. Great.

I have had Adolic Wallpaper Changer installed on my PC for the past month and I have found that once configured it worked as expected and has not increased the CPU or memory usage much. My only negative comment is that when I in advertantly moved the wallpaper folder from the location Adolic knew about the erro the software was repoting was overflow stack error and not that specified folder not found.

Adolix Wallpaper Changer works great with Windows Vista, easy to setup, and configure. If you are looking for a easy to use and free wallpaper changer this is a must have.

I liked Adolix Wallpaper Changer very much and I am using it in my computer right now. It has many options, allows you to manage image folders or image lists, has a system tray icon, and can run on window's startup. I only have found one minor problem: If I don't select the option "Change wallpaper on startup", when my computer starts up the wallpaper becomes black and stays that way until I change it or Adolix Wallpaper is triggered by time. Anyway, this is easy to resolve, just tell Adolix Wallpaper to run on startup, or click on the system tray icon to load a new wallpaper after startup.

Hi - in Vista, I could not access the menu system to customise so I un-installed.

A great program that allows you to have a new wallpaper every day, or change it with a single click whenever you want. This is a program that will be running on my pc for many, many years.

Adolix Wallpaper Changer is a solid, freeware program which handles wallpaper changer very well.

I like the software but would rather see a list of folders loaded rather than files. Then, if I were to add files to a folder installed, it would automatically be added to the list of files being changed. As it is now, if I add a file to a folder which I have added to the list, I have to individually add the file to get it to be seen by the program.

Unfortunately i had nothing but errors with this software from the moment i started using it, upon loading it would change my wallpaper TWICE for no apparent reason and if i tried to change any options in its control panel it caused an error dialog and options couldn't be changed.
Also if you deleted or moved a folder with images in that this program used it would crash upon load and become unusable, the only solution was to restore the folder and images from the recyle bin, then change the list before deleting the folder again.
